This Ocean Front Condo is a corner unit and has extra windows, creating a bright and open living area. There are many upgrades throughout including a kitchen remodel. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a sofa bed, allowing this condo to accommodate up to four (4) people. The fully equipped kitchen has a new kitchen island and is completely open to the living area and the lanai making the living space large and open. Complex Amenities: Note: Each year the pool will be closed for repairs for two weeks, starting on the second Monday of September. This year (2023) the Sugar Beach Resort pool area will be closed beginning 9/11/23 and reopening 9/25/23.

  We have stayed at Sugar Beach Condos 4 times in the past 15 years. This is the first time we were disappointed in our condo. It was very worn. The carpet was stained, walls were in need of paint and the furnishings were well worn. The owners had the closet so stuffed that we had little room to hang our clothes. In past years there were room safes. There was not one this time. Also, it would be helpful to have a ceiling fan in living room. The location and common areas are wonderful and we enjoyed them. Feel that the association needs to work with owners on keeping up their units.

  Effective communication took place from the start through text, emails, and phone calls. When there was a glitch with the initial choice of location to stay, three options were offered that allowed us to have a choice. Necessary amenities were available to get us started. The room was clean, the grounds well kept, the memories lasting as this has been at least the 10th visit if not more to Sugar Beach.

  First time in Maui for us. The condo is a bit run down, but the kitchen, amenities and view from balcony is unbeatable. We were very surprise to find fully equipped kitchen along with condiments, cooking oil, sugar etc.
  This is a corner unit, so it is very quiet, all we heard was the ocean waves. The pool was nice and jacuzzi too. You can walk along the beach to the left side and just walk up the street for some good shave ice.

  We have stayed at Sugar Beach many times and have used Maui Condo and Home many times. I have dealt with other management companies and they do not all provide the same level of service. I have yet to be disappointed by Maui Condo and Home. although we were not in a walk out unit this visit, being in a corner unit with the additional window was really nice. The condo had all of the amenities we needed. The only suggestion would be to update the bathroom (shower specifically) and some of the furnishings. The unit was clean, just starting to show some aging.

  The location of this condo is ideal for activities around Kihei, Road to Hana, haleakala national park visit and airport. However the property is very old. The bed linens were torn, the furniture is very worn, the balcony door was broken. We had a very nice person call us upon check-in from Maui Condo and Home and I notified him of all of this, he said someone from Housekeeping would come with new linens but they never did. The only upside here is the location and the view from the condo that looks out onto the beach.

  We’ve stayed at Sugar Beach Resort many times and this was the best!! Everything was comfortable, well equipped, including a Keurig machine which was perfect! The bed was super comfy with perfect pillows and Tommy Bahama comforter and shams in my favorite colors! The furniture was especially comfortable—- both on lanai and living room. Loved the sofa for older people to get in and out of easily and nice for families as it was also a sofa sleeper.
  Everything was very clean and comfortable. Also, I loved the updated island. Very easy to get from kitchen and living room.
