Spall repair is scheduled to begin on the A1 stack Tuesday 3/29/23 and is estimated to take 8 weeks to complete. The plan is to complete 2 stacks per day, which could be longer for stacks with heavier repair loads. The lawn area directly below the stack will be sectioned off when performing work on that stack. This is for everyone’s safety

Equipment will be stored by the stone wall inside the courtyard as well as at end of stack A22. There will be some dust and debris to clean up on the lanais. The construction crews will not be allowed on the lanais except for those requiring ceiling repair, total of 5 units.

One bedroom, two bath condo at the Maui Sunset. This unit looks over the center lawn area. your feet will enjoy the carpet throughout the condo. There is tropical and ratan furniture and the kitchen is original.

  We were very happy with the condo location and grounds. The landscaping and grounds were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, barbecue and the beach. Unfortunately we were very surprised about the condition of our condo. The chairs in the unit and on the lanai were uncomfortable but the mattress was good. The unit itself was old and musty smelling. The filth in between the fridge and stove was disgusting. The lino itself was lifting & a number of cupboards and dressers were broken.

  What I chose through VRBO was a beautiful, bright updated condo and what we got was a broken down, badly in need of some TLC unit right outside a staircase with a red exit sign shining through the bedroom sliding glass door curtains. I reached out to Maui Condo and Home and VRBO and nobody has contacted me regarding my complaint. I understand that the condo I chose was no longer available but I was told I would get something comparable. The unit that we were given was nowhere near the unit that we chose. The carpets were stained, the curtains were stained, the linoleum in the kitchen was discolored and curling at the edges, there were cockroaches, the kitchen cabinets were sagging, the elements on the stove didn't sit flat and didn't work half the time. We were there for two weeks to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary so we wanted the place to be special. Nicer than our home. What we got was a seedy hourly motel. We always stay at Maui Sunset when we visit. It's a great location and the grounds are beautiful. We love staying there. But this unit needs an update before renting it to anyone else or price it appropriately. We got ripped off.
