Beautiful ocean views from this oceanfront, two-bedroom condo right on South Kihei Road. This condo has enough space for the entire family between the two bedrooms, a thoughtfully furnished living room, and the condo's private lanai or balcony area. The carpeting in this condo also adds a home-style ambiance to your piece of paradise.

This unit sleeps up to four people with a King bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds (which can be converted into a King) in the second bedroom. The ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom has a large mirror over the vanity and a shower with a tub. The guest bathroom also has excellent lighting over the mirror and a shower with a tub. The kitchen features all new appliances and there is a new washer and dryer so you can pack light for your travels. Enjoy a comfortable living area featuring a flat-screen TV and WiFi. Relax on the new lanai furniture and enjoy the cool ocean breeze and beautiful ocean and sunset views.

The Royal Mauian is an oceanfront property with one pool for resident use. There is also a stunning rooftop garden with gas grills for your use. Because this complex is located in the heart of Kihei, you will find lots of local favorites only steps from your door. Beach parks popular amongst locals and tourists alike are Kamaole Beach Park I, which is located right next to the property, or Kamaole Beach Parks II or III which are only a few steps away. Some restaurant suggestions in the area include Cafe O Lei, Maui Tacos, and Da Kitchen. If you feel like shopping, there is an open-air market for souvenirs at the Kihei Kalama Village Center 5 minutes away which is also around Local Boy Shaved Ice, Three's Bar and Grill, and Kihei Cafe. You can also find groceries and some of your staple foods at Piilani Shopping Center such as Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse, and Subway.

  The Royal Mauian property is beautiful.
  The views spectacular.
  Unfortunately our unit #303 didn’t meet our expectations.
  We found so many deficiencies. It is very tired. Needs to be painted badly.
  The carpets need to be cleaned, clutter with too much furniture on the lanai
  and many basic cooking tools missing. Eg metal spatula for BBQing, potato peeler the list goes on. However Maui condo & home came thru with a new oven after 3 days without one. Should have been checked before our arrival. Thank heavens for the view from our lanai of Kam 1. Lovely.

  Cockroach infested unit. We were in contact with the management company, very responsive but the company used to rid the unit of the cockroaches was horrible. WE received 2 night refund, asked for a cleaning refund as the unit was filthy. Not to mention the broken door lock upon arrival, thread bare linens, broken beach chairs, coffee pot in need of cleaning, blender that was on its last legs, no cleaning products in the unit but lots of raid cans and cockroach bait traps. Been coming to Maui for 25 years have NEVER had an experience like this one.

  The is was stay #3. Can’t beat the location to the beach and some shopping. Easy to get to any other part of the island. Quiet community (some owners live there as well, not like a hotel). The rooftop gardens are perfect for watching the sunset and grilling up some dinner.

  Location is perfect. Right on sandy beach, walk to groceries, ice cream, restaurants, gear rentals, ABC Stores. Kitchen is complete, beds very comfortable, plenty of sofas, chairs, TVs. Beach boards & chairs were a real bonus. We watched whales from our deck and from the rooftop patio we watched the sunsets and whales nightly.

  This location is absolutely perfect for a beach retreat, honeymoon, vacation.
  The condo didn’t have air conditioning but, we didn’t need it. The ocean breeze coming thru kept us very cool and comfortable. Location was perfect for walking to the each other local shops. We will be back!

  The best thing about this condo is the view. We loved being on the beach and near the parks in Kihei. We also loved the roof access for watching sunsets and cooking dinner on the barbecues. The main drawback is the street noise. Maui must not have any noise ordinances regarding traffic and mufflers. The street noise was 24/7. Also the condo has no AC. With climate change and fewer evening breezes, AC would improve this condo a great deal. The fans helped but it still got hot inside most days.

  The view from the kitchen, living room, lanai, and primary bedroom was spectacular! The exterior of the property is landscaped with flowers and is well maintained, as is the rooftop deck (a nice bonus feature). We did not use the pool because we were steps away from two beautiful, swimmable beaches on either side. There are multiple dining/shopping options directly across the street, again just steps away.
  
  The kitchen and both bathrooms have been nicely remodeled. The granite countertops, quality cabinetry and duel sinks with large, well lit mirror in the primary bathroom were appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and equipment, as well as plenty of cups/dishes/silverware (only had to run the dishwasher at the end of our 7 night stay! Who wants to do dishes all the time when on vacation?). Even the furniture was nice.
  
  On the other hand, the green shag carpet made the rooms feel very dated and the comforters on the bed were old fashioned and faded (though clean). After spending the big money on remodeling the kitchen and baths, it made no sense to me that the owners did not bother to change out the carpet and purchase some nicer bed coverings. These two easy changes would give the unit the luxurious feel it deserves. Also, the lampshades in the primary bedroom and the drapery in living area were slightly dirty, again cheap fixes relatively speaking. My husband noticed none of this, but I did. It was enough for me to drop a star on the rating.
  
  There is no air conditioner in this unit, but plenty of fans throughout. This is something I did not realize when I booked. It did get warm inside, even with the fans on, so this is something to keep in mind.
  
  Overall, I would recommend this rental to my friends. It is a great value considering the view and proximity to amenities, if you are able to overlook a few truly minor things.
