Kahana Reef 102

Ground floor Ocean Front One Bedroom Condo. This unit is next to the pool and has a beautiful sunbathing spot in front of the lanai. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a pull-out sofa bed, allowing this unit to sleep up to four people. The furnishings in this unit are a mixture of rattan with tropical accents throughout. The lanai is open and allows you to walk out to the grassy area in front to enjoy sunbathing or watching the ocean.


Cooling features: Ceiling fans only (No Air Conditioning)

This condo is located at the Kahana Reef in the town of Kahana, just a couple miles north of Ka'anapali. Kahana has shops and restaurants and is also a short drive to the nearby towns of Kapalua (to the North) and Ka'anapali and Lahaina (to the South.)


The terrain will change with the seasons, but at times throughout the year you will be able to swim at the beach next to the property. There are also many beaches just a short drive away. You will want to visit Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay, both just a short drive to the North.


Shopping and dining options. The closest supermarket is in Napili, the Napili Market, located just off the highway in the town of Napili. You will also find Times Supermarket at the beginning of Lower Honoapi’ilani Hwy on your way to the Kahana Reef. From Lahaina to Kapalua, you will find shopping and dining options from casual to luxury. There is something for everyone.

  The complex and rental company were outstanding and I would recommend this property- any unit but 102. The property management were easy to work with, professional, helpful and overall outstanding. The location is excellent, as is the view amd general condition of the grounds. Check in and out was easy. I would rent any other unit again, but not 102. While clean and the bed comfortable, the unit has not been updated in decades. The wallpaper is peeling, the refrigerator rusted, cabinets old, cracked and no handles. There are no amenities except one rusted beach chair. My mother had unit 101 which was next door and fabulous. It was updated and full of ameneties. My daughter had 118 which was also incredible. I will definitely come back to Kahana Reef when on Maui. I simply won't even consider 102.

  Room #102 was adaquate for sleeping and showering. Thats it. The room is very worn, Rusty fridge, non working filtered water dispenser, ants everywhere (had to spray everyday) We have stayed in $100 motels that were more presentable. Worn out hidabed (not comfortable at all to sit on as a couch) The walls had old unused lag screws on every wall. Presentation was short of the mark and use was adequate, just felt like we were in an old mobile home, especially in the kitchen.

  We had 2 condos for this trip one being Kahana Reef 102. The condo was acceptable as an older no frills unit. Definitely needs some updating but did what we needed it to do for our trip. It is not fancy or very pretty but simple and comfortable with great ocean view.

  This condo is in a great location and run by an amazing property management company. They really went above and beyond. Unfortunately the condo is almost unlivable. Everything except the bathroom is extremely old, broken, unusable, or so gross you wouldn’t even want to touch it. Beds are completely uncomfortable and even the bathroom floods easily because they didn’t extend the shower wall far enough during the remodel. I’d stay in this place only if they did a complete remodel. I’d stay in another condo run by this company in a heartbeat though.
