Post date: 6/23/23. Hawaiian Electric needs to replace the power lines connecting to the property. Power will be out for 6-hour phases, 2 times per week. The project is slated to take 3 weeks to complete. Project dates: 6/26-7/13/23. Please contact our office for specific dates and times for power outages.

Large two-bedroom loft, Garden view Condo. Feel right at home in this spacious condo overlooking the pool and beautifully manicured greenway. There is a King bed in the loft bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room, which allows this condo to sleep a maximum of six (6) people. Kamaole Sands is located across the street from Kamaole Beach III and a short walk to more beaches, shopping and dining options.

This condo has one air conditioning unit in the living room only + ceiling fans (no AC in bedrooms)

    The grounds were well-kept, nice flowers, etc. Never used the pool or spas, but they looked nice. Two complaints about the condo unit: the master bedroom (upstairs) was too warm, as A/C was on the main floor. The shower on the main floor had a defective bath/shower valve, so that the shower head only got about 25% of the water, and the rest (75%) of the water went out of the faucet instead of the shower head. Otherwise all was fine, and would hapily return again.

    We had two units for our family vacation. This unit was very nice, located well, but it would have been nice to have a few basics like salt pepper, soy sauce, olive oil etc in it, fortunately the other unit did It did however have beach gear which we greatly appreciated

    As soon as we walked into the condo late at night we could smell a distinct staleness. The rug was filthy, the bathtub had hair in it and the finish on the tubs were worn. The shower doors were falling apart, missing a screw. The toilet bowl had some sort of mold around the edges. The space beside the doorknob in the bathroom had dirt down the side. The closet doors had greasy hand prints. The couch covers were thin and faded. The windows were filthy. The lamp shades were dirty. The air conditioner was not working. Fans were working but probably had lots of dust on them. The cupboard knobs were grubby. The pillows and sheets were old! We spent a lot of money and were expecting something updated and clean and were very disappointed. We did enjoy the grounds, the pool and the proximity to the beach. I complained and they sent the cleaning lady up right away but it didn't make much difference. Her comment was that the condo was so dated that she could not get it clean anymore. I think the owner needs to come and take a look at the condition of the place and update it!I will not recommend this condo to anyone! I think we got ripped off!!

    unit picture not shown during booking and had other unit pictures on. This unit is more dated than the others. 5 nights for what I paid is a lot of money for what I consider should and could have been 4 stars but it’s not. Other privately owned units are more updated. Lots of items were shared with the management team. Only gave a minor discount for the multiple problems we had which didn’t even make a dent. Busted Loft fan, broken bath equipment in both bathrooms, stained and wrinkled sheets, 4 seats in dining room for a 6 person stay. Will be posting again on expedia

    It was really nice, any time spent in Maui is great. This is the second time we have stayed on this property. The location of the room and the view to the pool is great because we like to “night cap” at the pool. Compared to the condo we had last time the place felt a little “un-personal”. Although it was personally owned, it felt like it was used strictly for renting. It had most every thing you needed but lacked the feel of an owned “Home”. Still a great place though. Thank you so much!

    From the loft you can hear every conversation going on at the pool even the jets of the hot tub, and that’s with the windows closed. so if you are use to a noisy neighborhood probably won’t bother you. The king bed is very hard and uncomfortable, even tried to sleep on the hide a bed but you can feel all the springs in that mattress.when we talked to management company after 1st night sleep we were told we might be able to move to another unit but would have to pay $250 cleaning for both units, but we were told they would try to get us a mattress topper if we would stay however the next day we were told no the owners would not approve purchase of one. The AC unit vents in the closet on lani, so you need to open the door to storage when it’s running so it doesn’t over heat, however it blows really hot air so you don’t want to sit and enjoy the lani if the AC is on. we have stayed at this location multiple times before and this was the first bad experience we had. Would not stay in this unit again.
