Situated in the Heart of Kihei, The Kihei Akahi is the perfect option for any eager traveler. On property, you will find two pools amongst the well-manicured tropical foliage. The Kihei Akahi is conveniently located across the street from the Kamaole Beach 2 and next to a fine selection of dining and shopping options. The property is quiet and set back from the road, but once you get out onto South Kihei Road, the energy is heightened.

There is a beach across the street and two beaches on either side of it, just a short walk away. The dining options range from 808 Deli, known for their sandwiches and salads; to Cafe O Lei, a nice dining option for lunch or dinner. The Whalers general store is a short walk away, as well as other shops and restaurants. Everything you want or need is a short walk, or a short drive, away.   The condo is in a great location with a good view. It is definitely dated and needs some renovations. Most of the electrical outlets were loose and we couldn't plug in our chargers. We reported it on the first day and they still hadn't come when we checked out a week later. There were also ants everywhere...

  We had another great stay in Maui and the Kihei Akahi. We really enjoyed our accommodations in unit D414. The unit was clean with a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Some of the furniture in bedroom quite out dated and because of new policy by the management company beach chairs (no umbrella provided) were old and straps broken making our walk to beach difficult. Prices have soared and i realize this has to be passed on but $300.00 a night is getting very high. Over all the complex is well run and grounds are beautiful. Thanks John

  Overall great stay, great views, quiet. The grounds are well kept. This is our third stay at Kihei Akahi. The condo definitely needs some upgrading though. The straps were disintegrating off the beach chairs. Could use some new pots/pans, kitchen equipment.
