Bright and open One bedroom garden view condo located on the ground floor. This unit sleeps up to four people with a king bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for enjoying meals in the condo or on the lanai.


Situated in the Heart of Kihei, The Kihei Akahi is the perfect option for any eager traveler. On property, you will find two pools amongst the well-manicured tropical foliage. The Kihei Akahi is conveniently located across the street from the Kamaole Beach 2 and next to a fine selection of dining and shopping options. The property is quiet and set back from the road, but once you get out onto South Kihei Road, the energy is heightened. There is a beach across the street and two beaches on either side of it, just a short walk away. Everything you want or need is a short walk, or a short drive, away.   Kihei Akahi is located near good beaches and many restaurants and shops. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. C109 is very dated but had all the things that were needed. The unit was supplied with beach towels and beach chairs and beach umbrella and beach toys which is not mentioned in your description of that particular unit. We were provided good customer service from the manager and booking agents. The unit did have air conditioning in the living area but only a fan in the bedroom and being this unit is right across from the elevators it was noisy at times. I did not feel this complex was very child oriented and we were warned with a typed note to curtail the play of the kids in the green area in front of our ground floor unit. If you want great location this is the place but would not recommend c109 due to the noise factors, its dated interior, and lack of AC

  The Management Company was fantastic to deal with but the condo is very tired and in desperate need of updates. We chose to enjoy our vacation and not let the premium pricing and antiquated state of the condo steal our aloha. The entire condo could use a thorough scrub, especially the kitchen, but overall it was acceptable. The elevators are directly outside the bedroom so opening the window louvres exposes your sleep to all elevator traffic noise and the surprisingly bright glare (think Maui sunshine) of the exterior lighting. However, the bedroom ceiling fan has one speed, super slow, so closing the louvres is not really an option. One of our favourite features was the gurgle and geyser in our toilet when the tenant above our condo flushed their toilet; timing is important :)
  The Kihei Akahi is a wonderful complex and we have stayed in other units but would not recommend this one.

  We had a wonderful holiday in Maui and loved the location. We called the management company a couple of times for issues and they responded quickly. The condo was very dated. Carpet in the entry and the bedroom was worn and dirty, several burned out light bulbs, dead spider hanging above the stove, old garlic clove in with the tea towels, crumbs and crud between the stove and counter, top of vanity etc. thick with dust. Water stains on lampshades and curtains. We had a great holiday but I would not recommend this condo unit at all.

  We love the location and the grounds of the Kihei Asahi. We have stayed there three times now. Our room C109 was a little dated. Furniture, washroom, kitchen. Details in cleaning was poor. We will look for an updated room next time.

  Location of the condo is great. Ground floor, close to beach, shopping, eating places.
  A little noisy at times by the elevqtor.
  Well supplied for kitchen, towels, paper products,, beach equipment.
  Bathtub drain needs help for easier usability.. front screen door annoying. Have to hand close it every time to avoid a slam.

  This was my second time staying at the Kihei Akahi (previous time was in building D). C-109 is a nice unit, it wasn't super clean when I arrived but it was clean enough. All the supplies I needed were there (bedding, towels, etc.). Kitchen was great, well supplied, and everything worked. Small lanai, with a nice view out to a garden area (this a ground-floor unit). Be aware, however, that a main exterior walkway runs right beside the bedroom, with two elevators located mere feet away, and with the louvered windows, it was VERY loud. Ended up sleeping on the pullout in the living room after the first night to get some peace and quiet. When people are talking as they walk by or wait for the elevators, it sounds like they're right in the bedroom with you! Had a great stay otherwise, and the location across from Kam II can't be beat. Also easy walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. The people at Maui Condo and Home were awesome to deal with. Mahalo nui loa for everything!

  We booked two weeks prior so we new we would not have a lot of options as we wanted to stay at Kihei Akahi. We have friends who own here and a group of friends were also vacationing.
  Maui Condo Rentals we’re great to work with. Efficient, good follow up and easy to contact.
  The Condo is in a great location right across the street from Kameoli 2 beach shopping and restaurants.
  The Condo itself was okay. There have been some updates but the kitchen is poorly stocked compared to other units in this complex ( we’ve rented multiple times) and is in dire need of an updated. There is an old air conditioner which cools the living room but no circulation in the bedroom except a fan which does little to cool. The shower needs fixing and updating too. Water runs from tap as well as shower h ad and does not drain very well.

  This is a lovely condo ideal for a small family. It is well equipped and clean. The apartment is on the ground level and we enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden. The beach, shops, restaurants are within walking distance.

  Nice place, good location. Great price! Just one stove burner doesn’t work and the shower drains a little slow. We still had a great time here, and we hope to comeback.
